First Coast Pickle (FCP) is a pickleball league based out of Jacksonville, FL. Founders Matt & Josh reached out to me to help make their launch a smash hit. They didn’t want to start your average local pickleball league, but instead, an official force in the pickleball world that would eventually move across the state.
Branding
We began by developing a brand that captured the essence of Matt & Josh’s vision for First Coast Pickle. It needed to combine the idea of the coast and pickleball and be official but still inviting. After working through a couple of concepts we eventually landed on the design above which used two crescent waves and negative space to form a pickleball.
Web Design & Development
First Coast Pickle needed a website that efficiently conveyed the league’s key value propositions as well as inspired confidence in visitors to sign up. The website originally funneled visitors to a league manager, where players could sign up and pay, but there was a problem. Although visitors were moving through the funnel, the registrations were not coming in. This was due to the registration process within the league manager being too complicated. In order to overcome this brick wall in our sales funnel, I proposed that we collect user registrations ourselves and onboard the users into the league manager after receiving their commitment to play. This restructuring of the sales funnel made a drastic improvement in our conversion rate, with over 150 players registering within the next three weeks.
Paid Social Campaign Management
After launching the website we focused on building interest in the league via paid advertising on Meta. We tested 8 ad creatives, with the two above resulting in the greatest performance. The paid ad campaign resulted in 53 player registrations and a 3.5X return-on-ad-spend.

Halo Potato Donuts is a chain of donut shops in Gainesville, FL that was expanding their product offering to include cookies at night. They needed a video for Instagram/TikTok that would generate excitement and demand for their new product. I was tasked with developing multiple concepts for this video, writing the script, as well as hiring voiceover talent. I then filmed the video and edited it. This was an awesome project to work on as it gave me the opportunity to let my creativity loose and also try their delicious cookies. The cookies ended up selling out in less than two hours after opening.

Gearing up for the launch of two new locations, they needed a video for social media that was going to generate buzz. They hired me to produce “The Building of the Original Big Dick,” a short video focused on how they make their burgers. The result was the highest level of engagement that Dick Mondell’s had ever seen on a social media post.

diNGK Sports is a provider of cutting edge pickleball paddle technology, but their Shopify website did a poor job of communicating that. Founder Scott Van reached out to me to solve this problem through a complete homepage redesign that was both visually aesthetic and informationally rich.
The Strategy
After auditing diNGK’s existing homepage and analyzing their competitor’s homepages I noticed three areas that needed to be improved upon: - Access to easily digestible information about their product’s value - Visibility of social proof - Overall aesthetic quality of the website
Art Direction
The website needed to be just as colorful and vibrant as the city where diNGK emerged from - Miami. I utilized diNGK's color palette of bright pinks, blues, and oranges across the site to achieve a coherent look.
Custom Graphics
Custom graphics were used to convey the product's key attributes in a more visual and digestible way.
